Assalāmu ῾Alaykum Wa Rahmatullāhi Wa Barakātuh

Consider the following Hadith.

Abdullahi bin Amr narrates that Rasulullahi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said,   that person who drinks alcohol and intoxicates, his Salah will not be accepted for forty days. If he passed away he will enter the fire of hell. If he repents, Allah give forgive him

Many contemporary Ulama believe that the above warning is also for taking drugs.Your husband should sincerely repent for taking drugs. Sincere repentance includes a firm pledge never to take drugs in future. If he is sincere, it is hoped Allah will accept his repentance and his hajj.
